Peacekeeper Meeting to Prepare for the Women’s March

There will be a meeting of all Peacekeepers who will be attending the Women’s March as Peacekeepers on January 10, 5-6:30 pm. We will go over the purpose of the PKs, what you can, can’t and shouldn’t do, simple methods for de-escalating verbal confrontations, when it is appropriate to call the non-emergency Prescott PD number and when to call 911 and review of a draft script to follow regarding directions for all March participants and answers to likely questions.

New people interested in becoming a PK, please be at this meeting. Old PKs should also attend to get updated on information I obtained from Prescott PD.

As of Dec. 28, there are only six people who have indicated they will be at the March as Peacekeepers.  That is not nearly enough! Please contact Lois Case at lois.case@att.net and let us know if you will be able to help out at this March. There were 1,200 people at last years Women’s March. There is a chance there may be more this year. We really need as many of you as possible.
