Court rules voter registration extension to end on Oct 15.

In a ruling yesterday by the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, the voter registration extension deadline of October 23 previously ruled by a federal judge and sponsored by 
Mi Familia Vota and the Arizona Coalition for Change was overturned.

The suit was brought by the National Republican Committee and the National Republican Senatorial Committee and cited the extension would cause “confusion that could undermine the integrity of the election process“. Read more here

While a blow, the 10-day extension did allow 28,000 more Arizonans to register to vote in the upcoming election.
