A Big Thank You from the Coalition for Compassion & Justice

Good morning!

I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for all of the amazing support over the last several months. We have served over 6,000 plates of food to our clients and we could not have done that without you. I have to say that, being one of the people dishing up many of these delightful meals, it was more appreciated than we can express.

Keeping our guests safe and healthy is always our number one priority, but the pressing pandemic did not make that task an easy one. Each time someone showed up at the front door with a meal prepared with love, it displayed to around 30 people that this community cares for each person and steps into action when needed.

I am personally so grateful to be in a community where this is true. Each donation, food or financial, was utilized to afford the opportunity to be nourished while sheltering in place. We are happy to tell you that our shelter has been free of COVID-19 and we are working to continue that trend!
