Thanks to everyone who attended the Prescott Valley Redistricting hearing on Saturday, November 20.
We held the line advocating for competitive districts and the voices of independent voters. The tally was 50 – 32 with us on the lower side and 5 – 3 with elected officials with us also on the lower side. But that is an excellent turnout for this side of the mountain.
Because of our turnout in Cottonwood they worked hard to rally people. They brought Prescott’s Yavapai County Supervisor, Harry Oberg, Mayor Phil Goode, Council Member Cathey Rusing and Ken Bennett.
We held our own with quality testimony and patient delivery. Remember to continue to submit your comments online at https://irc.az.gov/contact-us to reinforce our narrative.
Big Thanks to Everyone!
