CEBV PRESENTS: THE POWER OF THE YOUTH VOTE
Voter Registration Drive
First and foremost, these registration events need to be led by students for students. Enthusiasm, energy, and (let’s face it) peer pressure lead to the best events, and we are here for it! Student trainings are Aug 26 and Aug 30Voter Registration Week: October 2-6 |
1. Find a high school student (or several!) to lead the drive in their school. Think you don’t know any? You’re probably just one degree of separation away–think of your neighbors, friends, people who attend your church, your social networks. 2. Use THIS PRESENTATION to help acquaint people with the data around high school voting. 3. The student will need to sign up for training! For a successful registration event, The Civics Center provides thorough training, support, materials, and Democracy in a Box (fun stuff like stickers, signs, etc). TCC also guides the student through obtaining essential faculty and administration support. Trainings are Aug 26 and Aug 30! CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR TRAINING (students only!) 4. Hold the registration event on Oct 2-6. 5. CELEBRATE ALL THE NEW VOTERS! |
