BREAKING NEWS: AZ Supreme Court rules IN FAVOR of Arizona for Abortion Access, keeping our initiative on the ballot!
This is a HUGE VICTORY for Arizonans and direct democracy.
The Arizona Supreme Court just announced that we won the lawsuit filed against us regarding our petition summary. Our opposition claimed our 200-word summary of the Arizona Abortion Access Act was so misleading every single one of our signatures – more than 500,000! – should be invalidated.
Thankfully, just like the trial judge, the Arizona Supreme Court recognized this lawsuit for what it was: a baseless effort to deny Arizonans their chance to protect reproductive freedom.
Now, voters can officially choose if they want to see abortion access restored here in Arizona.
