Prescott Indivisible DACA Program
Prescott Indivisible hosts one of the only funds in Arizona that helps people pay their DACA fees. Between 2017 and 2023 we paid the full $495 fee for 46 people in the Prescott area! We want to continue helping undocumented members of our community with their DACA renewals because we have seen the difference it makes in their lives.
What is DACA?
DACA stands for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, an Executive Action signed by President Obama on June 15, 2012. DACA provides some undocumented young people with a 2-year work permit and temporary protection from deportation. Recipients are able to continue to renew their DACA permit every two years as long as they continue to qualify. USCIS has increased all immigration fees as of April 1, 2024. DACA renewal fees have increased from $495 every two years, to $555 when filing online or $605 when filing via paper every two years.
Apply for DACA Fee Assistance!
Prescott Indivisible will provide full payment for DACA renewal fees for anyone who lives in Arizona, although we will give preference to applicants who live in Yavapai County. We provide assistance on a first-come, first-serve basis until we run out of funds. For more information about the Prescott Indivisible DACA Program please text 571-353-1967 OR email [email protected].
We recommend submitting your application for assistance at least 1 month before you plan to submit your renewal application to ensure enough time to process your application and payment.
PLEASE NOTE: Prescott Indivisible is not a legal service organization and can not provide legal advice or assist with completing your immigration paperwork.
We recommend reviewing the resources on Informed Immigrant for more information on the new DACA fees and the renewal process.
