Why is Give No Ground so important?
It’s clear that the future of our democracy is on the line. And as overwhelming as the feelings of despair and even cynicism can feel right now, this moment isn’t a time to retreat. It is a call to action for the entire Indivisible network. We must take the fight to every level this November so that we can protect and expand a Democratic majority.
The 2022 midterms are here. Republicans have spent the last two years passing laws to make it harder to vote in states across the country and stoking a right-wing authoritarian movement to usher themselves back into the majority. They have attacked our capitol, our rights to abortion and contraception, and teachers and students at public schools — immoral crusades designed to sow division, radicalize moderate voters, and build political power. And it’s working. To force a national focus on their dangerous radicalism, we need to go on the offensive. WE MUST FIGHT BACK!
