MLK Juneteenth Celebration

The Juneteenth Celebration commemorates the day that slaves in America were totally freed. It’s a time of celebrating African-American freedom and culture.
There will be a panel of four minority-owned business representatives that will be answering questions about their local businesses and why they chose to establish themselves in Prescott. They will discuss some of the challenges they faced in starting their minority-owned businesses. The audience will have some time to ask questions.
Dance Party! George Benton (also known as George the Bubblemaker) will DJ an outdoor dance party for us from 5:30 – 6:15 pm. Come dance, celebrate, or just watch. Festivities are free of charge but a freewill offering would be appreciated.
