Please join us for our next movie in our series Movies with Meaning — I AM NOT YOUR NEGRO, narrated by Samuel Jackson.  This film explores the history of race relations in America.  This Oscar nominated film, released in 2017 is a documentary based on an unfinished book written by James Baldwin.  Using footage of civil rights heroes: Martin Luther King, Jr., Malcolm X, and Medgar Evers, Baldwin speaks of the continuing peril America faces from institutional racism. The documentary lasts 90 minutes and will be followed by discussion.
