From AZ State Indivisible:
I know a lot of us don’t like an empty ballot for the school board and city council races especially. We’re looking for a few volunteers who can work on a VERY short project – its researching which offices need a candidate to run – this is a statewide effort. We estimate there’s over 900+ races in Arizona.
The volunteer time needed is between now and the end of the month and will be 2-4 hours.
For members that love research, this is an easy project with a beginning and an end. All training will be done by Contest Every Race. More detail description of the project and to register for a training, here:

Join Contest Every Race and a team of dedicated volunteer researchers to map upcoming races and filing information for county, municipal, school, and precinct races across Arizona.
In about 30 minutes over Zoom, we’ll give you an overview of our mission, the research process, and the spreadsheets we use. If you can’t make a live training, no worries! Just sign up for the training date closest to when you’d like to start research, and we’ll set you up with a recording and everything else you need.
Overall, a typical research assignment will take roughly 2-3 hours of online searching and data entry, which you can do on your own time over a few days. You’ll want to have access to a computer with internet and you may need email or phone access if you need information from an election office. This project will run until November 18 and you are free to start any time after you’ve completed an onboarding session!
Current sessions include:
